abstract FIELD: medicine, pediatrics, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sedative medicinal composition with mild effect. Composition with sedative activity comprises valerian biologically active substances, sodium bromide, magnesium sulfate, citral preparation and glucose. As biologically active substances the composition contains effective amount of valepotriates as components of valerian dry extract and citral as oil and it comprises optionally solvent (up to volume 100 ml) and components are taken in the definite ratio. Composition can be made as dry mixture or an aqueous or alcoholic 20% solution. Invention provides the required quality of dry mixture corresponding to requirements of Pharmacopoeia and useful life 1 year, not less.
