titleOfInvention | Method for preparing cumene hydroperoxide and/or secondary butylbenzene hydroperoxide |
abstract | FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for preparing cumene hydroperoxide and/or sec.-butylbenzene hydroperoxide. Method involves oxidation of cumene and/or sec.-butylbenzene with oxygen-containing gas in an aqueous- -alkaline medium at temperature 95-145 C, in the volume ratio oxidizing hydrocarbon : an aqueous-alkaline solution = 1 : (0.5-1.5) and under pressure corresponding to vapor pressure of azeotropic mixture of oxidizing hydrocarbons with water. Vapor-gas mixture exhausting from oxidation reactor is separated from exhaust gas after condensation. Condensate is separated for hydrocarbon and an aqueous layer from which low-boiling impurities formed in oxidation are distilled off and returned to oxidation reactor. Condensation heat of distilling off products is used for concentrating synthesized hydroperoxides under vacuum. Proposed invention can be used in manufacture for preparing phenol, acetone, methylethylketone and other compounds with similar properties. Invention provides reducing process time for synthesis of cumene and/or sec.-butylbenzene hydroperoxides, selectivity enhancement and simplification in using technological equipments in this process. EFFECT: improved preparing method. 4 cl, 5 tbl, 5 ex |
