abstract FIELD: metallurgy of heavy non- ferrous metals; methods of processing sulfide copper-nickel materials. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes melting of copper-nickel converter matte together with converter slag for obtaining melt followed by blowing with oxygen-containing gas and settling; proposed method includes also introduction of boron- containing components in the amount from 20 to 60 wt-%; blowing of melt is performed at temperature of 1000 to 1400 C.
