abstract |
FIELD: manufacture of inhibited solid propellant charges. SUBSTANCE: proposed slow-burning solid propellant charge on base of ammonium nitrate and acetyl cellulose binder is inhibited by two-layer coat on side surface and coat on end surface; two-layer coat applied to side surface includes layer of thermoplastic inhibiting compound with asbo-lavsan fabric coat over it; coat applied to end surface is made from thermoplastic inhibiting compound. Thermoplastic inhibiting compound is made from the same composition as acetyl cellulose binder of propellant. EFFECT: enhanced fire and erosion resistance. 2 cl, 1 dwg |
