titleOfInvention Method for developing motor stump at evisceration
abstract FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: conjunctiva and Tenon's membrane are separated. Linear scleral incision is made being parallel to the whole limbic thickness. Abrasion of vascular membrane is carried out. Sclera is punctured for 3-5 mm being laterally against optic disk, optic nerve is isolated and crossed. Scleral band is removed around optic nerve. One should introduce dehydrated hydrogel implant preapplied into vicryl netting into developed cavity or the mentioned netting is fixed to sclera in projection area of ciliary body's planar part, and then spherical implant of 5- 6 mm diameter is applied. The method enables to stabilize implant's position in scleral sac due to creating "a maintaining hammock" made of vicryl netting, decrease the number of postoperative complications due to implantation of dehydrated material. EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation. 2 ex
