titleOfInvention Method of cleaning of effluent process gases from sulfur dioxide
abstract FIELD: cleaning of effluent process gases at enterprises of power engineering, metallurgical and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: method includes countercurrent stage contact of gases with water pulp of limestone preliminarily crushed to size of minus 0.074 mm. In this case, water pulp has 1-60 g/cu. dm of limestone with value of molecular ratio between sulfur dioxide and calcium carbonate in pulp equaling 1-2. EFFECT: higher separation efficiency of effluent process gases from sulfur dioxide and reduced limestone consumption.
