abstract FIELD: organometallic compounds, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method for preparing organometallohydroxystannates of the general formula: Yalk 2 SnOM n R m Y n-m-1 [where M is metal taken above group Ca, Zn, Cu, Al, Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Fe, Mn, Co, Cr; Y is OR' (R' is alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms) or O 2 CR″ (R'' is alkyl, cycloalkyl with 6-11 carbon atoms); R is alkyl with 1-4 carbon atoms, vinyl, phenyl; n means valence of metal M; m = 0-2, m n ≥ 1] by interaction of dialkyltin oxides with alkoxydes or acylates of above indicated metals M. Reaction is carried out in atmosphere of dry purified nitrogen at heating of reaction mixture at temperature 80-100 C in the presence of aliphatic or cycloaliphatic carboxylic acid as a catalyst taken in the amount 2-5% of mass of dialkyltin oxide. Method ensures to obtain reactive, thermically and hydrolytically low-stable organometallohydroxystannates with high yield and sufficiently high quality.
