abstract FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has single continuous layer manufactured from semi-rigid material softening when heated and a lot of isolated heat cells having mainly exothermic composition, spaced at some distance from each other and fixed allover the integral structure. The continuous layer(s) material gives required rigidity for retaining structural support of the heating cells to prevent the continuous layer(s) structures from unacceptable tension in manufacturing or using the heating package and excluding easy access to the heating cells preserving general advantageous material properties related to its fitting when heated. Method involves applying heating packages built-in into things usable for wrapping body parts with effective heat envelop with skin temperature being retained within 32 to 41 C for a period of time longer than 4 h.
