abstract | FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method includes bacterial leaching of products by Thiobacillus ferrooxidans culture at passing of metals into solution; leaching is performed at two stages: at first stage, intensive mixing is made at separation of sludge fraction which is leached at second stage during aeration till complete passing of metals from this fraction into solution. First stage is performed at pH equal to 1.6-1.7, temperature of 60-80 C, average concentration of ion of ferric iron of 8-12 g/l, dispersivity of particles of solid phase up to -44 mcm and its content in suspension of 25-40 % at intensity of mixing of 1-4 W/l without additional aeration to obtain accumulation of sludge fraction (-10 mcm) up to 40-60% of mass of product being leached; +10 mcm fraction is separated and is returned to first stage. Second stage of process is performed at temperature of 28-32 C, pH equal to 1.4-1.8 and intensity of aeration and mixing characterized by volumetric mass transfer coefficient by oxygen of 200-800 l/h for obtaining concentration of ion of ferric iron of 12-15 g/l which is returned to first stage at intermediate separation of non-ferrous metals.
