abstract FIELD: organic chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compounds of the formula (I) or the formula (II) where R 1 means N(R 10 )(R 11 ); R 2 means lower thioalkyl; each of R 3 and R 5 means independently CH 2 or C(O); R 4 means unsubstituted or substituted lower thioalkyl where CH 2 NHC(O)R 13 is a substituent and it is linked to the indicated thio-group; R 6 means a residue of heteroaromatic α-amino acid; R 7 means a residue of natural or synthetic α-amino acids; R 8 means OH or lower alkoxy-group or in common with R 7 it forms homoserine lactone; R 9 means H; each of R 10 and R 11 represents independently H; R 12 means unsubstituted or substituted fragment taken among aryl, aryl-lower alkyl where one or some lower alkyls or halogen atom are substituents; R 13 means lower alkyl; R 18 means H under condition that if R 4 means unsubstituted lower thioalkyl then free thio-groups from R 2 and R 4 can form disulfide bond; or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts. Compounds elicit ability to inhibit activity of prenyltransferases. Invention describes also pharmaceutical compositions comprising indicated compounds and method of inhibition of activity of prenyltransferase.
