SUBSTANCE: dry cows should be twice intramuscularly injected 40-50 d before calving and 1 mo after the first injection with 10 ml 0.5%- selenium solution (at 1 ml/40 kg body weight) at simultaneous introduction of the following ingredients into the diet, g/d: premix P52-1 25-30; chalk 75-80; sulfur 16- 20 and others.
