abstract | FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering epibulbary anesthesia. Necrotic tissues are removed. Xenotransplant is transplanted to injured cornea taken cattle pericardium. The xenotransplant is fixed with interrupted sutures allover the perimeter. Central keratitis or ulcer disposition and arbitrary perforated ulcer disposition being the case, continuous xenotransplant is used. Peripheral keratitis being the case, Pseudopupil type xenotransplant with central optical opening of round or oval shape and diameter of 2-3 mm is applied. EFFECT: avoided suppuration process recurrence; excluded eye evisceration; accelerated recovery with no allergic responses. |
