titleOfInvention Bath agent eliciting sedative, anti-inflammatory and capillary-strengthening effect
abstract FIELD: medicine, pharmacology, phytotherapy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents of vegetable origin exhibiting sedative, anti-inflammatory and capillary-strengthening effect. The proposed bath agent comprises medicinal plants: birch leaves and marjoram herb taken in the ratio = 1:1. The proposed agent can be prepared as granules and tablets and can be used as decoctions and infusions also. Carbon dioxide releasing in acid-basic interaction in the presence of water provides high biological availability of water- dissolved biologically active substances, stabilizes chemical composition, exhibits irritating effect on nerve endings in all cutaneous integument that results to the enhanced blood supply in cutaneous capillaries. Part of carbon dioxide penetrates through skin and enters in blood. Blood saturation with carbon dioxide exhibits strong irritating effect on inspiratory center and stimulates function of lung and bronchi. Also, kidney function and amount of excreted urine are alternated and metabolic processes in muscles and other organs are improved. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of agent, valuable medicinal properties. 5 cl, 16 tbl
