abstract FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying modified test strip. The modified test strip has protection visor attached to its upper surface. The visor is manufactured from transparent plastic plate. The visor allows one to access the strip surface receiving sample but prevents from contaminating measuring instrument by a user while covering the zone of the measuring instrument adjacent to the strip when the latter is set into the measuring device. The visor protects the user from making contact with the potentially dirty part of the measuring instrument in the like manner.
