abstract FIELD: mechanical engineering and instrument making. SUBSTANCE: reamer has cylindrical casing with portions of working surface provided with diamond-carrying layer and separating surfaces positioned between said portions. Reamer body has conical part with generatrix angle of 10- 20'. Cylindrical part of reamer body has length 1.2-3 times less than conical part. Width of working surface portion with diamond-dressed layer is 0.1-0.3 the length of circle and diameter of reamer. Reamer is used for finish machining of precise small openings having diameter less than 10 mm, for example parts of fuel processing instruments.
