abstract |
FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy; applicable in production of spherical nickel hydroxide used in storage battery manufacture. SUBSTANCE: process includes preparation of solution containing nickel salt and complexing agent in the form of reusable solution of amino acid. Synthesis of nickel hydroxide is realized from produced solution and alkali reagent introduced into it. Amino acid solution is regenerated by evaporation of solution obtained after separation of nickel hydroxide and precipitated-out salts. EFFECT: simplified and low-cost process of production of spherical nickel hydroxide with rejected use of toxic ammonia. 6 cl |
