FIELD: analytic chemistry and chemical technology; applicable in separation, testing and determination of ions of Co, Cu and Zn. SUBSTANCE: method includes contacting of solution containing ions of metals with modified silicon gel on which cincon (2-carboxy 2'hydroxo-5'sulfoformazylbenzene) is immobilized and dissolved in water-acetone medium (1:). Ions are determined by diffuse reflection spectroscopy. Technical result consists in creation of efficient movable phases for separation of metal ions and heterogeneous catalysts.
