titleOfInvention | Method of synthesis of saturated branched hydrocarbons |
abstract | FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis of saturated branched hydrocarbons that can be used for the octane number increase. Saturated hydrocarbons of the general formula: where R means n- C 4 H 9 , n-C 5 H 11 , n-C 9 H 19 are synthesized by hydroalkylation reaction of α- olefins in the presence of a catalyst. Alkylsubstituted α- olefins RCH=CH 2 (heptene-1, undecene-1, dodecene-1) interact with tert. -butyl bromide (t-BuBr) in the presence of triethylaluminum (Et 3 Al) and titanocene dichloride (Cp 2 TiCl 2 ) as a catalyst taken in the mole ratio RCH= CH : t-BuBr : Et 3 Al : Cp 2 TiCl 2 = 10 : (15-25) : (15-25) : (0.1-0.5), respectively, under normal conditions in atmosphere of an inert argon, in hexane medium, at stirring for 6-8 h and by the following hydrolysis of the reaction mass with 10% hydrochloric acid solution. The new method ensures to obtain the end product with the yield 72-90%. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, increased yield. 1 tbl |
