abstract FIELD: veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: the method deals with peroral introduction of iron-bearing preparation. An animal is given 0.5-3 ml/kg body weight the preparation of complex zinc and iron compounds with beet sugar. For therapeutical purpose, a month-aged calves and piglets are introduced with a preparation once daily for 10-15 d to normalize hemoglobin level.
