abstract | FIELD: physical chemistry, applicable in spectrophotometry of solutions being under pressure. SUBSTANCE: unit has a chamber divided into two parts, whose lower part is filled with mercury and compressor oil, and the upper one contains optically transparent liquid transferring the pressure. Placed in the middle part of the chamber is a setting platform that is hermetically connected to the flat head of a capillary tube. Positioned under the setting platform is an oil feed duct with a pipe union connecting the chamber to the compressor. Placed in the upper part of the chamber is a rod with gaskets, containing a through duct connected to the measurement cell through the pipe union and the capillary tube.
