titleOfInvention Method for detecting blood methemoglobin concentration
abstract FIELD: medicine, forensic medicine. SUBSTANCE: a single alteration for optic density of blood solution is conducted with subsequent calculation of methemoglobin concentration in tested blood by the following formula: , where X% - methemoglobin concentration in tested blood, Dbs - optic density of tested blood solution at 600 nm, Dhb 02 - residual oxyhemoglobin light absorption of blood solution used for calibration at 600 nm (0.148), Dmethbx 100% - optic density of 100% methemoglobin of blood solution used for calibration at 600 nm (0.8647), C - scaling coefficient allowing for the difference in hemoglobins content in tested blood used after calibration of a device. EFFECT: higher accuracy of detection.
