abstract | FIELD: heat power industry. SUBSTANCE: facility of front furnace of thermal electric power station works as follows: used and rejected tires are placed on conveyer and are brought into reduction roller unit where they are cut together with steel-wire cord into small pieces with the aid of inclined throat shears, are disintegrated in conical crushers and are brought into high-temperature cone-shaped furnace with calcium oxide lining by means of auger. Air with oxygen content up to 80% is pumped with the help of short-cycle compressor and unit drying atmospheric air into furnace. Gate is moved aside and tire crumbs are ignited through hole in furnace hearth by flame of gas burner to form slag melt with temperature up to 2000 C bubbled by air with increased content of oxygen through collector. In this case portion of air is supplied to surface of melt through regulator and collector to burn up unburned gases and steel-wire cord from tires is used to intensify heat transfer processes in melt. Ash with molten metal is removed through gate. Waste gases are cleaned from sulfur oxide in smoke conduit with the use of special unit. EFFECT: design of high-efficiency ecologically pure facility to burn tires and to generate electric energy with use of air carrying high content of oxygen. 1 dwg |
