titleOfInvention Orthodontic device for tooth distalization in the cases of dental arch end defects
abstract FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has orthodontic rings, guiding member on the rings and converting member manufactured from material possessing shape memory properties. The converting member is manufactured as U-shape wire arc enveloping the tooth to be moved in bending zone. Straight parts of the arc are arranged along the dental row enveloping it on both sides. The wire arc is set in labile mode with its straight segments mounted in guiding member slits using metal ligatures. The guides are unclosed cylindrical bushings mounted on vestibular and oral surface of the orthodontic rings. Guiding member slits are horizontally directed relative to the longitudinal bushing axis and in perpendicular to vertical tooth axis. Spiral-shaped spring is placed on a straight segment or on the symmetrically arranged another arch segment between the tooth to be moved and teeth located in medial position. The spring is manufactured from the same wire and as a whole with it. Difference between the compressed and stretched spring states is equal to the tooth displacement distance and arc segment length from end face of the last guiding member to the arc end. Arrest member for restricting movements is available. EFFECT: simplified design+ADs- enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 5 dwg
