abstract FIELD: power-plant engineering. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in chemical reaction between the components arranged on board the vehicle. According to the first modification, lithium oxide and carbon dioxide are used as reaction components with formation of lithium carbonate. According to the second modification, a mixture of fine- disperse calcium oxide and lithium oxide and carbon dioxide is used as reaction components with formation of calcium carbonate and lithium carbonate. According to the third modification, lithium oxide and water are used as reaction components with formation of lithium hydroxide. According to the fourth modification, lithium hydroxide and carbon dioxide are used as reaction components with formation of lithium carbonate and water. According to the fifth modification, lithium oxide, carbon dioxide and water vapor in the reaction space are used as components of consecutive two-stage reaction; as a result of reaction, lithium carbonate is formed. According to all the modifications, the starting components are obtained by means of regeneration, they are arranged again on board the motor vehicle. Thus, a closed cycle is produced.
