FIELD: energy liberation from hydrogen atoms (molecules) for compressing the latter to produce new materials. SUBSTANCE: hydrogen atoms enter in reaction with gaseous catalyst at pressure lower than atmospheric value thereby ensuring electron transition in hydrogen atom to energy level below ground level in case of change in reaction energy of approximately 27 (P/2) eV, where P is integer number higher than unity; cohesive energy of hydrogen atoms obtained in the process is approximately 13,6/n 2 eV, where n is higher than or equal to unity.
