titleOfInvention Surgical method for treating amotio retinae aggravated by proliferating vitreoretinopathy
abstract FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves carrying out transciliary vitrectomy, smoothing the retina by means of liquid perfluororganic substance. Endolasercoagulation of the retina and internal tamponade are carried out. Vitrectomy is started with selecting posterior hyaloid membrane. To do it, posterior hyaloid membrane zone is examined around the optic nerve disk using special instrument. Local detachment area is determined. No detachment zone being detected, local detachment area is created by means of lance-shaped instrument in nasal part of the optic nerve disk and a hole defect is created in this zone using vitreotome end piece. The posterior hyaloid membrane is detached in peripapillary way and separated from the optic nerve disk. Then, perfluororganic substance is introduced into the created cavity. Detachment to toothed line is carried out by continuing injecting the perfluororganic substance in combination with instrument action applied to the posterior hyaloid membrane under perfluororganic substance protection. Next to it, vitreous body and detached posterior hyaloid membrane is excised by means of vitreotome. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment.
