abstract |
FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering regional and systemic chemotherapy with artery feeding the tumor being embolized and radiation treatment applied immediately after the chemoembolism. This radiation chemotherapy is to be applied on the background of prednisolone treatment administered to the patient. Radiation treatment is administered in the medium fractionation of a dose in 3 Gr 5 times a week until total dose of 45 Gr when applied to mammary gland base, and 33-36 Gr in usually applied fractionation method when directed to regional lymph circulation zones, is achieved. Traditional chemotherapy is administered after accomplishing the treatment course. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; lower toxic influence of the chemical preparations. 2 cl |
