abstract FIELD: agriculture, forages. SUBSTANCE: invention is designated for use of polyethylene glycol compounds in fodder for animals. Compounds have molecular mass 3 000-15 000 Da with 4-24 carbon atoms: a) carboxylic acid ethoxylate; b) mono-, di-or triglyceride ethoxylate containing at least one acetyl group; c) mono-, di- or triester of sorbitan with carboxylic acid ester and d) alcohol ethoxylate. Ethoxylates a), b), c) and d) have molecular mass 15 000 Da, not above, and consist of oxyethylene groups in the amount above 75% by weight. In addition to polyethylene glycol compound forage for animals can include also 10-70 weight % of bread cereals, 0- 15 weight % of feed fat, 10-50 weight % of protein-containing nutrient substances distinct from bread cereals and 1- 10 weight % of vitamins, mineral substances, enzymes, taste supplements, antibiotics, probiotics and other fodder supplement for animals. The presence of polyethylene glycol compound enhances nutrient value of forage. Forage is used in poultry, piglets and calves feeding. Invention relates to method of preparing forage for animals also. Prepared forage stimulates the growth and gain of animals.
