abstract | FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: methylene cyclobutane is prepared by detaching functional group from methylene cyclobutane-carbonitrile using sodium-ammonia solution. Method is carried out either by batching methylene cyclobutane carbonitrile into sodium- ammonia solution or nitrile and remaining portion of sodium-ammonia solution are batched into portion of sodium-ammonia solution precharged into reactor. Methylene cyclobutane is isolated by rectification of organic part of reaction mixture after it has been treated with water. EFFECT: significantly improved economic characteristics, substantially simplified technology of preparation of methylene due to fewer stages and shorter process time, and increased yield of the desired product. 1 dwg, 1 tbl |
