abstract |
FIELD: nuclear industry, more particularly preparation of mixture of powdery metal oxides. SUBSTANCE: invention makes it possible to prepare powder having specific surface of 2 sq.m/g. Solution or mixture of solid matter is thermomechanically contacted with gas stream in contact zone of reaction chamber. Gas stream is introduced into reaction chamber in the form of symmetric vortex current simultaneously with solution or mixture at temperature which is not lower than nitrate decomposition temperature. Stream has mechanical energy which is sufficient to cause fine spraying of solution or fine dispersion of mixture of solid matter and to induce simultaneous decomposition of nitrates.
