SUBSTANCE: invention describes novel compounds of the general formula (I) ›ÈÛB where one of and R1 = R2 is X and other means lower alkoxy-group; R3 is monocycloalkyl, bicycloalkyl, benzocyclo-alkyl with a number of carbon atoms up to 10; X is -O-; R3 is CO, R6; Y is -COZ, lower alkyl; Z is CH2-, -OH, NH2 or -R9 where -OR9 is lower alkyl and n = 0, 1, 2 and 3. New amides are inhibitors of R9 and phosphodiesterase and can be used for control of cachexia, endotoxic shock, replication of retro-viruses, asthma and inflammatory states. Typical example of these compounds is 3-phthalimido-3-(3-cyclopentylhydroxy-4- -methoxyphenyl)-propionamide. Invention describes also pharmaceutical composition based on these compounds and methods of inhibition of activity phosphodiesterae, ÈHOalpha and ÈHOalpha.
