abstract FIELD: generation of low-temperature gas, not above 350 C, for example nitrogen with solid monolithic charge having through pores for passage of charge combustion products. SUBSTANCE: size of pores ensures reduction of temperature of gas in passing through pores to preset magnitude. Composition for generation of low-temperature nitrogen is based on sodium azide, sodium nitrate, binder and metal halide. In preparing gas-generating charge, powder-like components of charge are mixed, solvent is introduced till plastic material is formed, mass thus obtained is forced through, molded and change is hardened.
