abstract FIELD: photographic materials. SUBSTANCE: material suitable for recording color image in visible and infrared spectral regions consists of polymer support with antihalation layer on its one side and, on its opposite side, at least two light- sensitive layers made from silver iodobromide emulsion including color-forming components and sensitizing dyes, auxiliary and protective gelatin layers. Iodobromide emulsion has octahedral or/and flat microcrystals with grain size 0.5 to 1.5 mcm. One light-sensitive layer contains, as infrachromatic sensitizing dye, one or more compounds having general formula I: (I), wherein A is hydrogen atom, A 1 denotes group OCH 2 CH 2 CH 2 SO 3 , O lower alkyl, A and A 1 can form together group CH 2 C(CH 3 ) 2 CH 2 -, A 2 hydrogen atom of lower alkyl, B hydrogen atom, 5,5'-dimetoxy or 6,6'-dimethylthio substituents, n-0 or 1, X, if any, denotes toluenesulfonate, iodide, or methansulfonate anions. The other light-sensitive layer contains, as infrachromatic sensitizing dye, more than one compounds having general formula II: (II), wherein Y is oxygen or nitrogen atom, A, if any, denotes lower alkyl, A 1 hydrogen atom or lower alkyl, B denote 5,5'- diethoxycarbonyl or 5,5'-diphenyl substituents, R and R 1 denote lower alkyl or group (CH 2 ) 3 SO - 3 , and [K] + , if any, denotes cation . Optional third other light-sensitive layer contains, as infrachromatic sensitizing dye, one or more compounds having general formula III: (III), wherein A is lower alkyl, B denotes 4,5-benzo or 4,5-thieno substituents, B 1 - 5-methoxy, 5-phenyl, 4', 5'-benzo, 5-chloro, or 5-methyl substituents, R and R 1 denote lower alkyl or group (CH 2 ) 3 SO - 3 , and [K] + , if any, denotes dimethylammonium, dibutylammonium, pyridinium, alkali metal, or 3,3'- diethylazolinocarbocyanine. Between light-sensitive layers, tanninincluding auxiliary gelatin layers are inserted. Material has resolution ratio R = 110-160 mm -1 , that is 1.6-2.3 times higher than known material.
