titleOfInvention | Chemically precipitated chalk production process |
abstract | FIELD: industrial inorganic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to be applied at enterprises where calcium-containing solutions and other soda production wastes are available. Calcium-containing solution (distiller fluid) is fried from suspended particles and treated with soda solution with concentration 120 g/cu. dm (as sodium oxide) at 20-60 C observing 2 to 20% stoichiometric excess of calcium. Precipitate is separated, washed, and dried. Invention increases whiteness of chalk to 95%, reduces free alkalinity to 0.01% (as calcium oxide), and gives bulk density as low as 0.18-0.20 g/cu.cm. EFFECT: improved characteristics of product. 3 cl, 1 tbl, 4 ex |
