titleOfInvention | Insulating respiratory apparatus |
abstract | FIELD: equipment for protecting individual's respiratory organs from effects of atmosphere unfit for breathing. SUBSTANCE: respiratory apparatus based on chemically bound oxygen has portable casing, air and oxygen supplying systems provided with valve box with mouthpiece, inhalation and expiration hoses, heat-exchanger, breathing bag with excessive pressure valve, regenerative cartridges with starting device. Regenerative cartridges are connected in series through air duct which is provided with pressure-sensitive spring-loaded valve positioned in receptacle of first regenerative cartridge in gas flow direction. Breathing bag is provided with unit for additional supplying of oxygen and is connected to lower union of air duct. Insulating respiratory apparatus allows cartridges to be replaced without necessity for switching off apparatus. Such construction prevents toxic gases from penetration into breathing circuit. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg |
