FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: process includes crushing, sizing to separate material into three classes, and x-ray-radiometric separation to separate material into concentrated product and tails. Separation is carried out in lump and small-portion mode simultaneously with division of stream into smaller streams. In both modes, separation process is carried out according to algorithm: η = Ni/N S +kN Fe in free fall mode, wherein -50(40)+10(5)mm, is separation characteristic value, -150+50(40)mm number of recorded x-ray quanta of examined mineral, η number if pulses of scattered primary emission, Ni number of x-ray quanta corresponding to iron emission, and K spectral factor. Small-portion sizing is oriented for class N S 50(40)+10(5) mm, and lump sizing for class N Fe 150+50(40) mm. EFFECT: reduced losses of valuable components and extended material size ranges. 3 cl |
