abstract FIELD: synthesis of composite silicate paints, more particularly building industry and home use as facade paints, internal finishing of buildings and rooms. SUBSTANCE: described is composite silicate paint comprising liquid glass, organic modifier and filler. Organic modifier is butadiene-styrene latex and also includes urea; filler is rongalite production waste, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: liquid glass with density of 1.35 g/cubic cm and modulus of 2.7-3.0, 27.0-37.7; urea 1.7-4.2; butadiene- styrene latex (50% aqueous dispersion), 13.6-63; rongalite production waste, 33.3-50.0; and water, the balance. Rongalite production waste intended for making zinc is essentially gray calcined white lead-lead sulfate pigment containing zinc oxide with admixtures of zinc hydroxide and metallic zinc, wt %: zinc 80-88.5; metallic zinc, 9.0-13.0; zinc hydroxide, 0.13-0.14 and п.п.п., the balance.
