abstract FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: described is combination consisting of two or more acting agents for retarding or regulating nitrification of ammonia nitrogen in soils being treated and substrates and method of retarding or regulating nitrification of soils being cultivated and substrates. Combination of 1,2,4-triazole derivative based acting agents for retarding or regulating nitrification of ammonia nitrogen in soils being cultivated and substrates comprises 1H-1,2,4-triazole or substituted 1H-1,2,4- triazole or salts or metal complexes thereof, and one other compound such as substituted pyrazole or salts or metal complexes thereof, dicyanodiamide, guanyl thiourea, thiourea, ammonium thiosulfate ammonium rodanide at weight ratio from 1: 1 to 1:49 in two component mix. Claimed combinations show high activity at reduced standard amounts, have slow acting effect, and promote reliable use of nitrogen introduced fertilizer.
