abstract FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves using clinical and laboratory analysis data describing patient organism state, hemodialysis and ultrafiltration adequacy tests in performing drug therapy of renal insufficiency. Parameters of dialyzing solution are controlled, energy balance, hemorheological properties and arterial blood pressure monitoring is carried out. Gotch index is used as hemodialysis adequacy test being within the limits of 2.4 to 4.8 per week in cases of renal insufficiency patients receiving medical treatment during 6 to 10 years. To evaluate program dialysis effectiveness, blood plasma albumin level before dialysis is estimated having its mean value within the limits of 36-39 g/l and high correlation with dialysis index values describing the degree of urease removal.
