abstract | FIELD: chemistry of polymers, more particularly compositions based on high- molecular compounds, more specifically polyamide compositions used for preparing fireproof polymeric materials in electrical engineering and transport machine building. SUBSTANCE: described is new fireproof polymeric composition comprising polyamide and filler based on silicate material. Filler includes carbon-alumosilicate material which is mixture of natural carbon and alumosilicate at ratio of 10:90 to 20:80, respectively, and which comprises, as additive, stearic acid sodium salt or aminosilane, ratio of components is as follows, wt.%: carbon-alumosilicate material, 10-50; additive, 0.1-5.0; and polyamide, the balance. Polymeric products prepared by using claimed composition are fireproof (V-fp according to VL-94; Kg is 0.03-0.1), have high values of impact strength (1.5-1.70 kJ/m) and deformation heat stability (D is more than 100 C) and have no drip point.
