titleOfInvention | Method of lower eyelid blepharoplasty |
abstract | FIELD: medicine, particularly, plastic surgery. SUBSTANCE: method includes skin incision preliminarily marked marker line; removal of epithelium from obtained skin graft; separation of skin graft freed of epithelium in medial direction for half of its length; tensioning of graft in longitudinal direction and fixing to periosteum; fixing of half of lower edge of separated skin graft without epithelium to eye orbicular muscle and tarso-orbital fascia; pulling upward of skin of lower eyelid onto skin graft free of epithelium, and dissection of excessive skin. Application of method results in its higher efficiency due to strengthening of tarso-orbital fascia of lower eyelids with patient's own skin, provision of natural cutaneous swelling of eyelids and stable cosmetic effect. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 4 dwg, 2 ex |
