abstract FIELD: organic chemistry, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the novel ortho-substituted arylbenzoylguanidines of the formula (I) where R 1 means A, CF 3 , Hal; R 2 and R 3 each independently means H, Hal, A, -SO n -R 6 , -SO 2 NR 4 R 5 , Ph; R 4 means H, A, CF 3 , Ph; R 5 means H or A; R 6 means A; A means alkyl with 1-6 C-atoms; Ph means unsubstituted or mono-, di- or tri-substituted phenyl with A, F, Cl, Br, J or CF 3 ; n = 1 or 2; Hal means fluorine, chlorine, bromine or iodine atom, their physiologically acceptable salts. Compounds show good cardioprotective effect and therefore are useful for treatment of patients with infarction, for infarction prophylaxis and for stenocardia treatment. Substances counteract to any pathological hypoxic and ischemic damages and can be used for treatment of patients with primary and secondary diseases. Biologically active substances are useful for prophylaxis also. Invention describes method of their synthesis and pharmaceutical composition based on compounds of the formula (I).
