FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves separating lymphocytes and determining their fatty acid composition by applying gas-liquid chromatography method. Saturated-to-unsaturated fatty acids percent ratio is determined. The value being equal to 0.45, insulin resistance syndrome is considered to be the case. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of diagnosis. |
