abstract |
FIELD: molecular biology, biotechnology, genetic engineering. SUBSTANCE: DNA fragment rhtC encodes synthesis of RhtC protein that determines enhanced resistance of bacterial cells Escherichia coli to L-threonine. Strains of Escherichia coli that are able to enhanced production of L-amino acids as compared with plasmid pRhtC-free strains are constructed on the basis of multicopy plasmid pRhtC. Amino acids are obtained by culturing corresponding strains in suitable nutrient media followed by isolation and purification of the end amino acid. EFFECT: increased yield of L-amino acids. 6 cl, 7 dwg, 6 tbl, 5 ex |
