abstract FIELD: molecular biology, genetic engineering, virology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detection, cloning and analysis of DNA sequence of chicken anemia virus genome. Cells of the strains 1104-X5 and MDCC-MSBI infected with chicken anemia virus and containing double-stranded DNA of chicken anemia virus (length is 2.3 kilobas) are cloned in pIC-20H. DNA was sequenced completely. Recombinant DNA including the sequence for chicken anemia virus is used for diagnosis, vaccination or producing chicken anemia virus protein. Chicken anemia virus protein, in turn, is used for diagnosis, vaccination or producing antibodies showing specificity to chicken anemia virus.
