FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: hydration process is conducted simultaneously with mechanical activation at temperature of 280-300 C and hydrogen pressure of 300-330 mm Hg followed by dehydration at 450-500 C in vacuum of 25-30 mm Hg. Mechanical activation process lasts until plutonium hydrate particles measuring 10-100 mcm are obtained. EFFECT: reduced time, improved fineness of plutonium powder. 2 cl, 2 tbl |
