FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of composition for chewing gum including aqueous sorbitol and method of its production. The chewing gum is prepared from composition including solution of aqueous sorbitol syrup, mannitol and glycerine. The syrup of sorbitol, mannitol and glycerine may be used in various compositions with larger content of liquid sorbitol solution.
