abstract | FIELD: organic chemistry, more particularly, epoxy resin hardener, initial reactant for synthesis of stabilizers and addition agents to polymeric materials and petroleum products. SUBSTANCE: initial phenol is reacted with aminomethylating agent where aminomethylating agent is mixture of formaldehyde with N,N'-tetramethylmethylene bisamine, and process is carried out in organic solvent at 65-130 C for 30-60 minutes, N,N'-tetramethylmethylene bisamine to formaldehyde molar ratio is 1.00:0.51- 0.55:0.50-0.54, respectively.
