titleOfInvention | Method for treating chronic hypertrophic vasomotor and allergic rhinitis |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying holmium laser radiation of 2.09 mcm wavelength pulse series in intramucous mode. Frequency is 10-15 Hz and pulse power is 1-1.5 J. Quartz-polymer light guide is pushed inside of turbinated bone mucosa in short 4-5 mm long segments to reach its back half. Then the fiber is taken out at a speed of 2-3 mm/min continuing the treatment in the original mode. 1 to 3 intramucous canals are built depending on the extent the turbinated bone is increased. EFFECT: increased nasal cavity lumen; breathing function repair with no reactive mucous edema. |
