abstract FIELD: food-processing and pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: syrup contains, % by weight: dealcoholized eleuterrococcus extract on conversion to dry substance of extract 0.60-1.20; vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid 0.25-0.50; citric acid 0.10-0.20; sugar 50-65; water the balance. Syrup may contain dealcoholized eleuterrococcus extract in the form of liquid dealcoholized eleuterrococcus extract with dry substance content of at least 15%. Syrup may contain dealcoholized dry eleuterrococcus extract with dry substance content of at least 15% and moisture content below 5%. Syrup may contain dealcoholized eleuterrococcus extract in the form of dry mixture with moisture content not exceeding 12%, or dealcoholized eleuterrococcus extract with sugar powder. Syrup facilitates improvement of organism's protective properties from unfavorable effects of biological (infectious), chemical and physical nature. Syrup is recommended for 2-3 year children and teenagers since it possesses adaptogenic and vitamin properties.
